What country is Hawai'I in, then?

1. They report, you decide, LOL…
2. Did they do that? How stupid!!!!!

   As far as how our friends the Hawaiians feel, it's irrelevant. It's no different from say the bunch of Staten Islanders here who don't want to be part of New York City or Puerto Ricans on the island who want independence from the US.

   Hawaii is a state… period… and that makes them part of the UNITED States, therefore making the Fox reporter's statement hugely inaccurate.

3. Just who was it that put his foot in his big mouth, this time ? -:) Or were they serving Pina Coladas ?
4. They only claim "fair and balanced," not accurate or honest.
5. So you expected journalists would have to take geography in school? Half of them couldn't find Iraq on a globe, even if taken there on a MATS flight. I took an astronomy course in college that two working journalists enrolled in. In days it was obvious they were totally lost, and the Professor asked what made them take the course. One answered, "Our editors." At least they were hoping to cover the space program on assignment after learning how to find the Moon on a clear night.
6. I agree that Fox News isn't the pinnacle of journalism, but most native Hawaiians would agree that they are not Americans.
