Can anyone purchase land in Hawaii?
- I was wondering if the purchase of land in Hawaii was restricted to the indigenous people of Hawaii?
- anybody with money
- Actually, there are only some places where you can buy it in fee. Other places (particularly beach front) are often either owned by land trusts and 'long term leased' or reserved to natives or both. There is still a lot you can buy, though.
- Anyone can purchase land in Hawaii, it's just very expensive.
- Thank you for any information you can provide me.
- No I think you still have to lease the land, It use to be a 99 year lease or of that sort. They can lease it to you for an absorbent amount of money. Taxes are outrageous there and the price of the lease is enormous.
- I would think you could buy land in Hawaii as in all the other US states. If there is land for sell and you can afford the price of for it.
- I think anyone can buy land, if you're willing to pay obscene sums of money. It's an island paradise from what I'm told.
- No, since Hawaii is part of the United States, anyone is able to purchase property on any of the islands. However, I hope you've been saving up… Land in Hawaii is not cheap!
- Hawaii is so expensive. A house that would be consider a shack can go for 700,000. I believe a house there if your a United States Citizen. Blessings
- yeah but it's outrageous. I have wanted to move after I get my teaching license. just for a change of scenery. so I looked around a few interesting places. Hawaii is for the obscenely rich.
