In the 70's I lived in Kaneohe and had a shirt that I loved. I had a comic picture of a cockaroach wearing flip-flops, a tank top, shorts, and a lei, while drinking a can of Primo, and smoking a joint. It said "Hawaii State Bird: the Cockaroach"

1. I've tried to find it again when there on vacation with no luck. Shop owners looked at me like I was nuts. Has anybody else ever seen this before?
2. I can absolutely verify that these existed because I also owned one. Somehow it got misplaced and I seriously doubt that there are any more for sale. The word cockroach would be pronounced just as you wrote it, ka ka roach by locals.

   Primo Beer was one of the biggest locally brews and very popular.but has been out of business for many years.

3. My father in law owns that shirt and he used to sell him at their family store in Maui in the 70s. He recently scored another one from Ebay.
4. I remember those shirts……they don't make them anymore (just like Primo) so the only place you'll be able to find on is on Ebay.
