I am planning to go to school in hawaii this august and I'm also planning on getting a scooter/moped…. I was just wondering if you can drive the scooters/mopeds on the highways in hawaii… to get to like northshore and stuff?…. please get back soon…

1. yes you can ride a moped on the highway but I suggest that you don't because traffic and stuff is just ridiculous if your going to Oahu but in the other islands you should be fine.But in the island of Oahu and Maui they have busses and stuff you can take.Well good luck
2. Buy a bike. It is nice and mild year-round in Hawaii. They might also have public transportation systems as well.
