I need to understand which continent Hawaii is in?

1. Some of the reponses here are so STUPID.
   Hawaii is a US State but it's not in North America!!!

   No, it is not a part of Asia, No, it is not a part of North America (in it OR connected to it)!! However it is a state of the United States although it is outside of the Continental US. It is an Island in the Pacific Ocean.

   Ok, Hawaii is one of 5 islands about 6 hour flight south west of LA in the Pacific Ocean. It is NOT part of Asia.
