1. I'll be going to hawaii in Late Jaunaury and would like to know when the schools / high schools / college have their school holidays?

   Hawaii is on a statewide school calendar as it is a state school system (as opposed to mostly county systems on the mainland). I have listed links below for the Department of Education and the DOE school calendar for 2006-07 school year. Keep in mind that each school has its own waiver days, so this calendar will vary slightly for a few days over the school year. If you know which school you will attend, you can find the individual school's calendar on the DOE website as well.
