I have a friend that was kicked off a ship in hawaii and need to know the cheapest way to get back to the mainland?

1. There is only one way….plane! As far as cost of tickets…..nothing gonna be cheap at this point since it's summer and you have no advance notice. Your best bet would be on Aloha, Hawaiian, or ATA. Those will at least get you to the mainland where they can pick up a cheaper over land flight.

2. Honestly, I would love to be stranded in Hawaii, I would never want to go back to the mainland!
   But, I have no idea how to get back to the mainland, sorry!
3. They may also check the newspapers.. sometimes people sell their return trip tickets..
   Also,there is an online travel agency that you can bid for a ticket, I have never tried that but it may be another way to go.
