University of Hawaii's business program?
I'm currently a student at oklahoma state, (decent business program), however I'm thinking about transferring to the univ. of hawaii. My reservations are quite obvious though, cost of living over there, getting my parents to take this as a credible school, so if you could provide some reasons why it makes sense, and provide some insight on the credibility of a business degree from the univ. of hawaii? I'd greatly* appreciate it.
- I figure you only live once, and I'm not married, so why not study in heaven? let me know.

US News and World Report Ranks UH Shidler College of Businesss Among the Best Graduate and Undergraduate Programs for International Business
In the US News & World Report rankings, University of Hawaii at Manoa's Shidler College of Business was recognized among the nation's best graduate and undergraduate program in international business. The College has consistently been ranked in the top 25 nationally over the last several years.I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, and later earned 2 Master's of Arts Degrees at the University of Hawai'I at Manoa. It is a wonderful school. Remember: long after you graduate, it's not from WHERE you attended college, but ALL of the experience you earned. Hawai'I is one of the most multi-cultural and ethnically diverse places on earth. I encourage you to apply! I knew lots of folks in both the undergrad and MBA programs at UH Manoa, and they were satisfied and engaged with the program. Since I graduated in 2001, the UH Business School is taking a more proactive role in visitor industry/hotel management, so now is the time to consider your education and your professional development! You could get an internship at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel or the Moana Hotel! Both historic buildings built at the turn of the 20th century on the shores of Waikiki! Go for it!!! You only live once. And since I've graduated, I've been working for a large Fortune 500 company here in Hawai'I, and I've met the man of my dreams! If you are truly open-minded, respect other cultures, and wish to contribute to our island society, I encourage you to pursue your interest in the University of Hawai'I at Manoa Shidler College of Business.
