What is Hawaii weather like in late July?
first Hawaii trip want to know what to expect
- I don't know where you live so it's hard to describe it and compare it to where you are now?
Warm and a bit muggy. It might rain for a few minutes and then it'll be over and the sun will come out again.
Usually around 75-80 degrees. Down to around 58 degrees, depending on the wind comditions. It also makes a difference on which Island you are visiting. Each island has a different climate condition! Bet you didn't know that did you. Molokai cooler, and Kauai more rainy. Maui and Oahu about the same for each as I noted above.
Lots of sunscreen….you are closer to the Equator so you are closer to the sun here. Can burn you even if its cloudy! Carry a light shirt with you, in case of rain and/or sunburned shoulders.
- Hot and humid. It is the tropic, so depending on which island you will be on, and where on that island you might get an occasional rain shower.
- Hawaii is really hot in the month July cause it's the summer time. Just be prepared to always want to get wet and have a nice suntan. So bring alot of suntan lotion… HAve a enjoyable stay here…
- Faysdaze is right on the money. You're in the middle of summer, close to the equator, on the same latitude as Miami, FL,
= HOT (~80 to 90 degrees) and HUMID (~65% to 80% humidity), often offset by a gentle tropical easterly wind. - Hawaii in July is like summer anywhere else. The temperatures are warm (mid-70 to low 80) but not hot, because the water serves to keep temperatures stable. It's in that range all year round. Some areas of the islands have more rainfall than others — Hilo, on the big island of Hawaii, gets pretty wet. Kaui, the garden island, is another damp site.
But wherever you go, you'll find friendly people, warm ocean (you can swim year round) and beautiful beaches. Enjoy!
