We who live in Hawaii want cheaper fares from airlines to the mainland. There are really cheap flights/ specials to Europe all the time. Distance is the same. I can fly from Seattle to Hawaii for $188, same flight to Seattle is 3 to 5 times as much. WHY?

1. Supply and Demand. We live here in Hawaii. And everything is more expensive than in the Mainland.
2. Because you lose 4 hours flying to the mainland and they charge you a finders fee.
3. Because people who live in Hawaii have a lotta $$$ so the airlines take advantage of that… I mean really Hawaii is very expensive, so ya gotta have some $$ to live there! But it is the most beautiful and my favorite state!
