I plan on getting married in Hawaii next year, so …?

Does anyone know any good, decent priced hotels in Kauai? I will be staying for 6 days, 5 nights.

  1. Thanks!
  2. just to let the one person above know that Kihei is on maui, where I live not on kauai, so you might not want to follow her advice, kauai in general is decent priced, my advice if you really want a cheap stay don't go for the "name brand" hotels, try to find a local inn or lodge, they are fairly nice and comfortable, and you'll definitely get the aloha spirit treatment.
  3. Check out this website. One click seaches over 200 travel sites, incl. Kauai

    www.EnglishRose.WorldVentures….

  4. kauai coconut plaza is really nice,if you stay on the top (4th) floor the ceilings are about 20 foot high & they have lovely big koa wood blackout shutters & the bathrooms were really big, the bed was massive too! Can't remember exactly what town it was in but I think it was Kihei.
  5. Go to hotels.com, and try spiritairlines.com and try priceline.com.
  6. Define your idea of good, decent priced. Best is to figure about a minimum of $250 per day for two people with a room and meals.
Airfare not included, nor is a car or sightseeing. The cost of a wedding there can be as simple as getting a license and having the Mayor perform the ceremony uo to many thousands for something more elaborate.

My suggestion? Use the Mayor and save the rest of the money for a place to live.
