1. Helicopter tours - expensive but worth it.
   Kayaking - great fun.
   Hike the Na Pali coast - free if you're not going to camp; about 15 kilometers to the end of the trail. There are a couple of beaches even farther out that can only be reached from the sea.
   Plantation tours - Ask at the Nawiliwili visitor's center.
   Read recently that someone started up a tourist train on Kaua'I, but don't know where it is.
2. Almost everything costs money in Kauai…
   We enjoyed taking a helicopter tour of the island, and had a great time kayaking down the Hanalei river.
