I love adventurous type stuff, like thrill rides, white water rafting and body surfing. I have asthma and bad allegies so I can't do anything that will leave me too winded. I would love to parasail but there is no parasailing when we are there because it is whale season. Not sure of the correlation there? Anyone have ideas for things to do that would excite me? Right now I'm actually dreading it- I'm not the type to lay on a beach for a week.

2. Maui travel guides give long lists of things to see. Though 'everyone does it', you should make it to Hana if you can. There are lava tube tours and even a red sand beach to check out there. Just making it there is an adventure.
3. Sometimes the condo or location where you are staying will also have 'package' adventure deals where you can explore the local terrain with a group or using a guide(sometimes this is safer if you are away form the action and aren't familiar with the area). Call or email where you are staying and ask them if they offer this type of service. This will give you a leg-up on what is close, and save you a bit of time during your research. Don't worry, though - if you're a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants type of gal like me, there is plenty to do when you get there, and you can figure it out on the fly! Have fun, and take care!
4. Swim, sunbathe and eat Poi. You could also have your "palm" read, or stay in the sun too long and have your palm red.
   Report them to the Child Protection Agency….being forced by your family to vacation in Hawaii is truly classic child abuse.
