Im going to Maui, should I stay at the Hyatt or the Westin Maui?

adults looking for nice pools and swimming beach.

  1. Stay at the Mana Kai in Kihei. I was there for 5 nights last month & had a blast. Check out pleasantholidays.com for the best air, hotel & car deals. . . They treated us right . . .
  2. kihei is awsome get on line and check it out.I had a wonderful time!!
  3. I haven't stayed at the Westin, but I have stayed at the Hyatt. I LOVE the Hyatt. The beds are sooo comfortable. The pool is very nice, complete with waterfalls, a swim up bar, water slide, and kiddie area.

As far as beaches, both hotels are located on the same stretch of beach, just at oppsite ends. I don't know what the Westin offers, but the Hyatt has a beach activites center where you can rent snorkel gear, boogie boards, and the like.

The Hyatt has their own snorkel tour (aprox $85/person) that includes breakfast, snorkel gear, boat ride and lunch. I've done it twice and had a blast both times. The Hyatt also has an Expedia desk where you can book tours and excursions and a Hertz desk for renting cars.

  4. I would stick with the Hyatt
  5. Both are GREAT hotels. Both are spectacular beach front properties with GREAT pools. My personal favorite is the Westin. I'm not sure if you've checked out their website, but they have 360 degree tours of the "Aquatic Playground" and "Oahu Pool".

If you need any help with your reservations, please let me know. Or, if you'd like a quote, e-mail me with your dates of travel and what room category you're interested in. I promise to respond ASAP.

In the meantime, it's a very tough decision.

  6. I would choose the Hyatt but they're both really nice.
  7. If it's strictly between those 2 hotels, I would go with The Hyatt….better pools & better beach! If you're looking for other suggestions though-The Sheraton went through a major remodel a few years ago and is really pretty with a great beach! But THE best hotel on all of Maui is by far the grand wailea-nothing else compares…it just happens to be on the opposite side of the island from where you're talking about
  8. hotels are hotels. but if you are interested in a beach to swim its either kihei or lahaina or lipoa area.

bring sun tan lotion or pick it up over there.

    good luck!
