Im curious if anybody knows some good places to rent snorkel equipment in Napelli, Maui, Hawaii? Also, how much does it cost on average to rent snorkel equipment that includes fins for a week? Does the eqiupment get taken up fast in summer? Thanks

1. There is a Snorkel Bob's located at Napili Village and a Boss Frog's in Napili Plaza.
2. yeah I just got back from there today actually.

   the best place to go snorkeling would have to be in honolulu. it is called Hanauma Bay.. its beautiful and cheap to go… they have a lot of fishes turtles etc… we also went to maui as well and their didnt seem to be much going on there.. I didnt really see and good places to go snorkeling.. at Hanauma Bay they have snorkeling things there.. I would really suggest that places because it is beautiful

   its not far from the waikki beach either and is easy to find

   they are closed on tuesdays though

3. Aloha, and I live Maui, and worked on Napili Bay for 3 years. Snorkel Bob's is right there, and they rent out very cheap, and they have a huge supply of snorkels, and fins. If you want some better equipment, check out the Maui Dive shops, as they are all over and have good equipment. I bought all my gear from Maui Dive, I like their equipment.

5. Check out snorkelbobs.com. He has a store in Lahaina (Maui) that will probably suit your needs. I have never heard of Snorkel Bob running out of stuff, so you'll probably be OK, even in the summer. Last time I rented from him it was $9/week including fins, but that was 2002 so prices may have changed.
