What are the good places to stay in maui and also what are places to see in maui

2. We honeymooned in Maui at the Maui Marriott on Kanapali (sp) beach. LOVED IT. Any places at Kanapali are excellent - it just depends on your wallet! If you are on a budget…check out vacation rental sites for a condo or something that is just as nice - just without all the bells and whistles.
3. Personally I like the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. Also, if you have time be sure to visit the island of Kaui and take a helicopter tour. It is unbelievable!
4. My husband and I have been going to Hawaii about every other year for the past 15 years and when on Maui we always stay at the Punahoa Condominiums in Kihei. It's a 21 unit complex that's 50 feet from the ocean. All units are individually owned and fully furnished. They have 1 and 2 bedroom units. Kihei is called the "sunny side" because it seldom rains here. This complex is one street off the main road so you aren't bothered by any traffic. There's a small white sand beach right next door that has surfing lessons and kayaking. If you want the true Hawaiian experience, you can't go wrong with the Punahoa. We're going back this August for 2 weeks. Have a wonderful honeymoon. Aloha.
