planning on taking a vactaion in hawaii and I was wondering where I can find a good snorkel spot, preferably with less tourists, thanks!

1. Hanauma Bay. The number of people visiting is controlled and the the fish are so tame. The water is calm & there are lots of lifeguards in case you get in trouble. I will be returning there. Watch out for the sun - I got a burn that the lines are still on my back two years later.
2. Lanikai Beach on the eastern shore. Can also sea kayak there, is very beautiful.

   Many people go to Hanauma Bay, but it's always very crowded.

3. I do. All you have to do is to breath.
