2. no, it has not, I lived there for 8 years you can see snow on the Big Island
3. I don't think snow has ever gathered like on Hawaii, the big island, but ice can form on some of the upper peaks. Some people might call it snow, but I say if you can't ski on it, it isn't snow. If you were to ask a yes or no question only though, the answer would be yes.
