I'm making a trip to Oahu this December…and looking to rent a beach house that sleeps 8 (3 to 4 bedrooms would be ideal). If you have any recommendations…that would be great.

   This is a website that lists thousands of homes all over the world that are for rent by the owners of the houses. For Hawaii (there are several hundred rentals on Oahu alone), the properties are broken down by each unique area on the island. Most of them shows photos of the property and include many amenities like bbq's, beach equipment and surf boards, and other things to make your stay as perfect as possible. It's my favorite vacation rental website out of any I've ever looked at.

2. You can try http://www.craigslist.org or do a search on the Internet at http://www.google.com
3. www.vacationrentals.com
   Check that site out… they have some good deals!
4. I would look in the Honolulu Advertiser, or the Star Bulletin.
5. I like greatrentals.com for rental vacation houses and condos. Have used them a number of times and have had good luck with them so far.
6. This place has lots of listings but you might want to skip the first few pages due to the cost.
