I was hoping to find a great place to drive to for a scenic overlook of Honolulu at night time. any suggestions?

1. Tantalus Dr. is a good one. There are many roads that have beautiful views, just pick a mountain and drive to the top and see what you see.
2. Tantalus lookout would be a really awesome place!!! Seems like it would be just the place for you!!
3. Ever seen Portlock? It's located in Hawaii Kai– just keep driving through Hawaii Kai (main highway) and you'll see a sign "Portlock". I'm not sure which of the houses leads to Portlock.

   The scenic view at night and sunset is incredible. The stars are so visible.

4. Be careful of Pali lookout/Mt Tantalus… I went during the daytime and all the cars got broken into. I actually saw the robber in the car next to mine's, but I didnt realize what he was doing until the other tourists were freaking out.

   Never leave your valuables in the car.

5. Drive up into the hills of Manoa. Thats up past the university. It looks down on to the entire city of Honolulu.
6. you can go to pali look out , or going towards hanauma bay there is a look out point on the left side before turning into hanauma bay parking lot and at night you can see the city lights, And also go to tantalus drive a residential area with a winding road, on the way up the mountain there is also a look out point to see the city lights.
7. From downtown Holulu, drive north up into the hills. You will be able to stop almost anywhere and have a beatiful view of Honolulu and Diamond Head at night.
