You'll want to go to Downtown Honolulu - there you will find Chinatown, Iolani palace, the state capital, the Kamehameha statue, the old federal building, Honolulu Hale, Hawaii Pacific Univeristy and "Dog the Bounty Hunter" has his office (Dakine Bail Bonds) there, behind St. Andrew's Cathedral. Go to Aloha Tower Marketplace in downtown Honolulu as well, there are 70 shops and restaurants, and the information desk there can get you good maps of the downtown area. The downtown area is worth walking around for an all day thing, it is about 1.2 square miles.
