My girlfriend and I have been together for 2 1/2 years and about a year ago my mom and sister had an arguement with my girlfriend which resulted in my mom eventually yelling at her and my girlfriend leaving the house. It was over something really small and my mom didn't apologize until about a month ago. Despite the apology my girlfriend still doesn't come over and I understand that. My mom is a really jealous person and my family isn't all that tight. My mom's side of the family is the one that isn't all that tight and that's who lives around me. My dad's side is really close and loving but they're back home in Hawai'I so I don't get a chance to see any of them. Now my girlfriend is saying that she doesn't think we're meant to be because of my family, but it just kills me because we constantly would tell each other that we wouldnt leave one another and we constantly talk about our future kids and etc.

We have never been to Hawaii and hear Kaua'I is more scenic and beautiful, but we have many friends and family coming with us so would Maui be a better choice for tourist reasons? We like outdoor stuff such as hiking etc We are getting married in June. Anybody who really knows Hawaii please respond!
