We who live in Hawaii want cheaper fares from airlines to the mainland. There are really cheap flights/ specials to Europe all the time. Distance is the same. I can fly from Seattle to Hawaii for $188, same flight to Seattle is 3 to 5 times as much. WHY?
I Want More on Why are the air fares from Hawaii to the mainland higher than from the mainland to Hawaii?

Me and my fiance are trying to decide where to honeymoon. Since we live in Hawaii (and don't want to honeymoon on neighbor islands) we figured Tahiti would be a nice place to honeymoon. It's fairly close and in the same region, so we thought it would be a cheaper alternative to say, the Carribean or something but looking at Hawaiian Airlines (which is the only airline that I could find that flies directly to Tahiti from Hawaii- without stopping over on the mainland or something) the costs are $1,000+ and there are very few flights. Does anyone know why it's so expensive and hard to do? Thanks!
I Want More on Why is flying from Hawaii to Tahiti so expensive (and hard to do)?

I've searched the internet and read some books and I get conflicting answers. Some say the left side and some say the right side. For whoever has flown to Honolulu lately, please let me know which side of the plane you can see the island when you land.
I Want More on When flying from the mainland to Oahu, which side of the plane will you be able to see the island on approach?
